The two models offer 180-degree beamwidth for the unlicensed ISM band at 2.4-2.5 GHz. The SEC-25V-180-10 model is a vertically polarized, 10-dBi gain antenna covering 2.4-2.7 GHz. The SEC-25V-180-13 model features 13-dBi gain. Both of these models offer wireless ISP's a high quality alternative to omni-directional antennas.

With the unlicensed band at 2.4 GHz becoming more and more prone to interference issues, the transition from an omni antenna to a sector at the base station is a sound technical move. The higher gain offered by the sector antenna, as well as a Front-to-Back ratio of 20 dB, are additional advantages.
