Radio Waves Expanding Engineering & Operations Depts

Due to significant growth Radio Waves is expanding our engineering and operations support staff. Radio Waves, The Leader in Microwaves Antenna InnovationTM, offers an open and dynamic work environment that fosters innovation and teamwork. The following positions are currently available:

 

Assistant to Engineering Staff:  Applicant will assist in development and test of commercial microwave antennas and antenna systems.  This position requires some lifting and year-round outdoor work testing antennas on antenna test range.  Good mechanical aptitude and ability to use machine tools is highly desirable.  Good computer skills and familiarity with electronics is also desirable. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform mechanical assembly using hardware and hand tools
  • Perform Electrical Tests under the supervision of Engineering staff
  • Prepare documentation for written reports
  • Maintain laboratory equipment
  • Create test fixtures and perform light electronic assembly

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1-2 years experience
  • Must have reasonably good computer skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal Instructions
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs

Operations Planner/Expediter Applicant will develop planning schedule for Radio Waves' innovative line of microwave antenna system products and assist the operations team with ensuring that Radio Waves meets all delivery commitments. This is an ideal entry-level position that will provide significant career growth opportunities for a driven individual looking for a fast-paced operations environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Plan and maintain master schedule 
  • Work closely with purchasing and vendors to assure lead times are minimized
  • Assure both short term and long term planning is optimized
  • Establish and manage strategic JIT material management process

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • College degree with emphasis on supply chain management and/or materials management
  • Military experience a plus
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills including advanced Excel ability
  • Crystal reporting experience a plus
