Radio Waves New HPLP2-11 Smallest FCC Cat B Antenna Available

N. Billerica, Massachusetts (March 2008) - Radio Waves, Inc., The Leader in Microwave Antenna Innovation®, has announced a new low profile high performance 2’ antenna for FCC Catergory B  applications in the 11 GHz microwave band. The new HPLP2-11 offers 34dBi of gain in a low profile package, that is the smallest FCC Category B antenna available on the market. The new HPLP2-11 has a shroud that is only 4 inches deep and has a diameter of 24.5”. Other Category B antennas are much deeper and some products are 26” in diameter.  The new HPLP2-11 is FCC Category B compliant and use Radio Waves exclusive hybrid-cassegrain feed system for optimal efficiency. The new HPLP2-11 can be developed with a mounting system to directly integrate to an OEM manufacturer’s radio or ODU (out door unit).
